Testing
Learn how to testing payment on Notch Pay
Testing your integration is a pivotal step in guaranteeing a smooth payment experience with Notch Pay. Notch Pay offers a dedicated sandbox environment tailored for testing, enabling you to validate your integration before launching live. Within the sandbox mode, you can simulate authentic transactions without executing real payments.
To ensure the correctness of your integration, simulate transactions without actual money movement using special values in test mode.
Test cards enable you to simulate various scenarios, including:
- Successful payments by card brand or country
- Card errors resulting from declines, fraud, or invalid data
- Disputes and refunds
- Authentication with 3D Secure and PINs
Similarly, testing non-card payments involves using special values tailored for each payment method. However, due to rate limits, we advise against using test mode for load-testing your integration. Instead, refer to our documentation on load testing for appropriate procedures.
